Who Are We?

At the present time we are a small group of "founding members" along with several very interested, attentive members who are organizing, planning, and making ourselves known to the community around us. Our group is growing quickly!

As it says on our home page, we are dedicated to the welfare of avian pets and psittaciformes in the wild; and to responsible bird ownership through education and example. 

We have come to realize that there is a lot of mis-information floating around out there about our bird pets. Parrots and smaller birds are not like cats and dogs. Their needs and intellect are very different. We feel that the more people know and understand about avian pets, the more likely birds and parrots will have a happy, healthy life with the owners.
Not only that, bird people just enjoy communicating with other bird people.

We hope to branch out, as we grow, and to become active and known within the community around us and to be a valuable resource.
